PANERAI 1936 RADIOMIR CALIFORNIA DIAL-BRAND NEW IN BOX.

Introducing the Panerai Radiomir 1936 PAM 249, a true tribute to the iconic timepiece that kickstarted it all. Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the first Panerai prototype for the Italian Royal Navy, this exceptional watch captures the essence of its vintage predecessor while incorporating modern enhancements. Limited to just 1,936 pieces, the Panerai Radiomir 1936 series was released in 2006 as a homage to the brand's historic prototypes. With meticulous attention to detail, this timepiece faithfully replicates the original design, infusing it with a touch of contemporary flair.

Crafted with a substantial 47mm cushion-shaped case, complete with wire lugs and an oversized winding crown, the Panerai Radiomir 1936 PAM00249 exudes an air of timeless elegance. The dial, protected by a Plexiglass crystal, pays homage to the iconic Califonia dial style. At the top, Roman numerals grace the dial, while Arabic numerals adorn the bottom. The 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions feature rectangular markers, with an inverted triangle marking 12 o'clock. Enhancing legibility, blued hands indicate the hours and minutes at the center of the dial. In line with modern safety standards, the luminous material used on the PAM00249 is non-radioactive Luminova, carefully treated to exude a vintage aesthetic. Notably, this commemorative piece features an unmarked dial, reminiscent of military watches during wartime. While the front of the watch boasts a Plexiglass crystal, the caseback reveals a sapphire crystal window, providing a captivating view of the hand-wound Caliber OP X movement. Adorned with the elegant "Cotes de Geneva" decoration on the bridges, this mechanical marvel operates at a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, offering an impressive power reserve of 56 hours.

Completing the ensemble, the Panerai Radiomir 1936 PAM 249 is accompanied by a leather strap, adorned with a vintage-inspired trapezoid-shaped tang buckle. Notably, the patented system allows for easy removal of the wire lugs from the case, adding a touch of practicality to this exceptional timepiece.
